Dear Parents/Carers,
I am writing to remind you that this year’s Sports Day has been scheduled for next week, on Friday 28th June. It is an exciting event that showcases the students’ sportsmanship and teamwork. We encourage all students to participate in the activities planned for the day.
On Sports Day, all students should arrive at school wearing their full academy PE kits. This applies to all students including the non-participants, we expect everyone to be wearing the full academy PE kit.
It is essential that students have the appropriate PE kit to fully participate in the planned activities. Students without the appropriate PE kit will not be able to participate in Sports Day.
Please be aware that we will be following our Wednesday timings for Sports Day, meaning that the school day will finish at 2pm for students. To facilitate this change, bus companies have been duly informed.
If you foresee any difficulties in collecting your child at the earlier time of 2pm, we kindly request that you inform your child’s college. We will make arrangements for them to be supervised until 3.15pm to ensure their safety and well-being.
We appreciate your support in making Sports Day a memorable and enjoyable event for all our students. Please ensure that your son/daughter is well prepared for hot weather by bringing suncream, a plain sunhat and plenty of water.
