Year 11 and Year 13 Celebration Update letter

Dear Parent/Carer

Re: Congratulations and Good Luck

Following our successful A-Level and GCSE results days this summer, I would like to formally congratulate all Longfield Academy students on their achievements. The results reflected the hard work and dedication of our students and we are all incredibly proud. I am also delighted to be welcoming so many Year 11 students back next year, into our fantastic sixth form, where I am confident they will continue to succeed.

As you may remember, I previously wrote to you, inviting yourself and your child to a Year 11 and 13 Celebration Evening in September. Unfortunately, due to the low numbers of expressed interest, we will no longer be hosting this event. I hope that students enjoyed their Prom and end-of-year celebrations, and feel that this was sufficient recognition of their great work.

Whether you are staying at Longfield Academy,  continuing studies into further and higher education, beginning full-time employment or any other adventure, I wish you the best of luck. I hope that you continue to demonstrate the Longfield values of respect, achieve and care, as lifelong ambassadors for the academy.

Congratulations again.

Kind regards
Dr F. Donkor | Principal
