Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a national program which challenges young people to go beyond their comfort zone, build new skills, develop confidence and have exciting new experiences, all the while working towards a recognised qualification which they can put on their CV. Every year, over 300,000 young people sign up to start their DofE adventure, and Longfield Academy is delighted to have become a centre providing this experience to our students. The exact logistics of the award will vary each year depending upon interest and uptake from our students. More information is available from the school office.
