Careers Fair 2023

Careers Fair 2024

The Longfield Academy Careers Fair 2023 took place on January 13. The event was an exciting opportunity for students in Year 9 upwards to speak with employers and educators about the options which they could consider in future.

We were joined by a large number of stallholders, representing a range of local organisations, businesses and education providers. We were delighted to welcome representatives from:

“I had not thought about doing an apprenticeship before but now I might consider it.”

What did our visitors say?

“The Longfield Academy Careers Fair was a great opportunity to meet students and follow local employers. The fair was well considered in that it focused on the older year groups who were enthusiastic to talk through career options and gain an understanding of the potential pathways locally.”

“It was a great event and thank you for giving us the opportunity to inform interested students of the wide variety of careers available in our organisation. This gives students the opportunity to gain information about our life, apprenticeships and university sponsorships.”

“It was a pleasure talking to your students and your colleagues about the roles in our organisation. We had some really lovely conversations and hope that your students found the information about the many roles and career pathways useful.”

“A very professional event, and your students were a credit to you. I would love to work with the academy again in future on other events.”

“It was a pleasure to attend the Longfield Careers Fair, and I thought that the day was very well planned and thought out. Many students are not aware of the benefits of doing an apprenticeship, so it was great to have the opportunity to inform them on this.”
