At Leigh Academy Longfield we support students to function successfully and happily in a democratic society. Our sixth form is underpinned by our core values of respect, aspiration and care. Our post-16 students benefit from outstanding pastoral care, a wide and varied co-curricular programme, and a broad provision of subjects which enables students to maximise their potential and develop into well rounded young people.
We are very proud of the achievements and development of our students who consistently achieve well and leave us with the qualifications and skills required for future success. With support from our PSHE and Careers curriculum, our students are well prepared for their next steps. Many of our students choose to continue their studies at university or in apprenticeship programmes.
We are delighted that Ofsted has recognised our sixth form provision to be ‘outstanding’ on two consecutive inspections (June 2018 and September 2023).
